This individual will contribute their expertise in software engineering to a multi-functional team implementing Smart Factory initiatives at the Kansas City National Security Campus. The primary focus on this role will be as a full stack developer supporting an internal web application and the underlying architecture.

The BI Solution Specialist supports the PMO organization at Honeywell FM&T. This role works closely with analytics development team, data architecture team and business stakeholders to architect enterprise level analytics solutions, turning data into actionable insights that helps drive success across the organization. The successful candidate will have strong experience in developing and architecting BI & Analytics solutions in various tools and technologies.

• Assists in the design and/or project/process management of new and current products, programs, components, tools and acceptance equipment under technical guidance of higher level Engineers or departmental management.
• Develops electronic test equipment for electronic and mechanical products, maintains both hardware and software to support factory.
• Coordinates product and acceptance equipment designs and ordering of testers, and laboratory equipment to support production acceptance.
• Defines electronic test equipment design coordinates requirements with other team members and qualifies equipment.

• Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering (DE) best practices
• Demonstrated ability to create complex system models and engineering/test artifacts in SysML/CAMEO
• Systems Engineering experience, including use case development, requirements decomposition and management, detailed design, verification and validation, and operational deployment’
• Modeling electronic components to use in testing
• Simulation to ensure quality before entering manufacture

• Evaluates and implements innovations and technological advances that improve quality, reduce flow time, improve productivity, and enhance operational surety.
• Drives rapid resolution of component, system and flight test anomalies through research, development and execution of experiments, and collaboration with internal and external technical resources.

This position is responsible to develop and maintain the business data architecture for the enterprise through ownership of business focus areas / (-domains-). Partner with business leaders and product managers to develop an integrated view of data across the enterprise using a repeatable & cohesive framework, while identifying gaps and simplifying our cross functional processes, current and target state data architectures. This role is responsible to provide thought leadership and recommendations related to data process architecture through strategies and roadmaps to improve customer experience while realizing increased operational efficiencies. 

Clinically:

• Provide diagnostic assessment, treatment, and referral as required for occupational and nonoccupational illnesses and injuries.

• Perform medical surveillance or certification examinations, interpret diagnostic tests and data, prescribe medications, and make independent health care assessments and referrals.

Administratively:

• Provide guidance and direction on programs and activities that support the development of strong physician and administrative relationships while applying process improvement techniques to optimize and improve clinical services.

• Provide oversight of all healthcare regulations and safety standards to ensure compliance including monitoring for and institutionalizing up to date information on new healthcare regulations and standards of care.

Manages procurement activities for production and non-production products and services. Leads and executes strategies to achieve agreed upon service levels with internal and external customers. Teams with Strategic Sourcing, Quality Engineering, and Material Flow in the production environment to achieve and manage favorable commodities contracts. Teams with Facilities, IT, HS&E, HR, Finance, and Capital Equipment Coordinators in a non-production environment to achieve and manage multi-million dollar contracts and long term agreements.

• Performs and analyzes routine to moderately complex engineering functions, quality control functions designs, and specifications to achieve efficient, cost effective and reliable manufacturing or measuring processes, applying mathematical, physical science, and engineering technologies. Follows established procedures in completing multiple technical assignments.
• Assists in the design and/or project/process management of new and current products, programs, components, tools and acceptance equipment under technical guidance of higher level Engineers or departmental management.
• Develops manufacturing and measuring methods which designate tooling, gages, acceptance equipment, and processing procedures.

Performs project management on complex Industrial Engineering functions to achieve efficient, cost effective and reliable manufacturing processes by applying mathematical, physical science, and engineering technologies. Exercises some latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments. Works with higher level engineers in order to become a recognized authority within an area of expertise with versatility of experience and capability.

• Optical CMM Programmer (NC Analyst), tasked with programming numerically controlled inspection equipment.  Software includes but not limited to Zone 3, Measure X, MeasureFit, MeasureMind, and MetMax.
• Provides guidance and work direction to lower classification analysts.
• Performs assigned departmental administrative duties. Conducts process engineering functions as needed to assist in engineering project completion or product realization.
• Analyzes product definition drawings or computerized data bases for appropriate method of accomplishing the requested N/C operation.

• Implement and drive the SCMC Strategic Commodity Team (SCT) for different commodities like Operational Supplies, Information Technology, and Professional Services across the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and Environmental Management’s (EM) multiple sites.
